If you walk
from Noosa to Sunshine Beach, the stretch along the beach at Alexandria Bay is
renowned for its ‘natural’ appeal. You see unforgettable sights that you won’t
see anywhere else in Noosa.
What is your favourite time of year on the
coast and why?
I love the
coast all year round. From February to May the crowds are gone, the ocean
temperature is still warm and the days are sunny. It's also
hard to beat a warm sunny day in the middle of August.
What do you do to relax on the Sunshine Coast?
There are many options and
variations from day to day. Starting the day in the water, catching a few waves
at National Park is always nice. Bagging some rays and people watching on main
beach is about as relaxing as life gets.
Coffee, breakfast or brunch on Gympie
Terrace followed by a walk along the Noosa River is soul therapy.
When friends and family come and stay, what do
you recommend for them to do during their stay on the Sunshine Coast?
The must dos I recommend to my family and friends are “get into your
most favourite clothing, stay in it all week if it makes you feel good”, and then enjoy breakfast at Moon Doggies, lunch at the Noosa Surf Club and dinner at Rasa.
Take a Sunset Cruise on the Noosa River, visit Tea Tree Bay, look for koalas in Noosa National Park, soak up the sun and swim in our warm ocean.
What is your favourite aspect about living on
the coast?
I enjoy the
friendliness and relaxed vibe. The people are great.
What is your idea of a perfect day spent on the
Sunshine Coast from dawn to dusk?
I love the beach and I could spend all day on or near the beach. Some
surf on the points without a crowd, some sun, some good coffee, tasty meals and
ice cream in establishments where bare feet are welcome is perfection to me.

Our guests love the tropical
ambience of our gardens and the spaciousness of our apartments.
