Event: Triathlon Pink

Caloundra’s Quad Park will be in the pink on Sunday 12 September 2010 as women of all ages and fitness levels take part in the 2010 Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink. The event is a women-only event focused on having a go with friends and family, getting active and raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The event is a fun and achievable initiative catering for everyday women of all ages – participants commonly range from age seven to 70!
Triathlon Pink encompasses swimming, cycling and running legs. You can compete as an individual or get together with a group of friends and compete as a team where each person completes one of the three disciplines, much like a relay.
You can even choose a course length to suit your fitness level as the event has long, medium, short and kids courses.
Long course triathlon: 300m swim/9km ride/3km run
Medium course triathlon: 200m swim/6km ride/2km run
Short course triathlon: 100m swim/3km ride/1km run
Kids triathlon: 50m swim/1.5km ride/500m run
