Established in the mid 1980's in the tranquil Sunshine Coast Hinterland town of Kenilworth, Lasting Impressions is the oldest gallery on the Sunshine Coast.
Owner and director Kaye Cathro has over the years represented a number of established and emerging artists whose styles range from traditional to contemporary.
Artists represented include Archibald finalist Helene Grove, international award-winning Lyn Diefenbach, renowned local artists Ken Gailer and Pam Walpole as well as 2010 Sulman Prize finalist Damien Kamholtz whose work attracts national and international attention.
Works by watercolourist Bruce Buchanan, still life artist Ian Mastin, Sue Gilmour and Marilyn Rose are also on display.
Apart from paintings, the gallery has a particular focus on glass, representing a number of the finest glass artists of Australia.
