Adam Bogusz will be Montville Art Gallery’s feature artist for July. The statements and colours of Adam’s paintings are strong, dramatic and clear in a style that is uniquely his. The direct simplicity of his forms reflects his keen perception and sense of humour.

Landsborough Galleries will display a retrospective exhibition of seventeen originals and a large range of giclee prints. This is by far the largest collection of Trott’s new works to have been exhibited.

‘Two Cheap Hookers and a Mexican’ is a collection of new works by artist Shane Bowden. Bowden’s pieces explore diverse themes and have in-your-face exuberance. The exhibition is guaranteed to be a definite talking point.

Michael White and Stephen Glassborow exhibition continues into July. This exhibition at Art Nuvo brings the cream of Sydney’s art scene with two established artists bringing Buderim a taste of contemporary landscapes and deco cast bronze sculpture.

On July 12, Don Waters’ vibrant, fun, technicoloured paintings of quintessential Australian scenarios will be exhibited at Landsborough Galleries. Included in the exhibition will be ‘Flag Shipsm’, which is featured above.

nude exhibition
From July 1 - July 26 The Gallery Eumundi will showcase Eden Scott’s solo exhibition, The Body – images of the nude. This exhibition presents a celebration of vitality using line and colour. It is a unique exploration by an artist into the mystery and charm of the female nude. All of them are based around the sheer joy of drawing the figure. The gallery opening will be held on Sunday July 5 at 11am, please RSVP. Included in the exhibition will be Melinda 2, oil pastel on paper which is featured above.

Gary Myers has returned to Maleny and has opened his gallery at Maleny Arts Retreat. The gallery is filled with new works by the artist himself and a select group of interesting and collectable artists. From July 2 to July, the Maleny Arts Retreat will be featuring the works of artist Rob Machon.

Throughout August, Montville Art Gallery will feature the paintings of ‘plein air’ artist Todd Whisson, who has won many awards for his landscapes and seascapes reminiscent of the famous Heidelberg school of painters.

In August, Denise Daffara presents an exclusive collection of new canvases featuring blissful women draped in opulent gold and jewel-coloured fabrics that shimmer with eye-catching ‘sgraffiti’ spiral designs inspired by the great painter Gustav Klimt.
